After a career in diplomacy, I returned to my first job, journalism, working for various media outlets in Afghanistan. I was awarded at the International Forum for Women’s Leadership in the European Union in 2020 in Belgium. I am also active in the challenge of women’s rights, the speech of peace, the role of women in peace negotiations and the organization of online meetings with women.
I have a master’s degree in political science (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and a bachelor’s degree in journalism (University of Kabul).
In Belgium, I am permanently accredited to the European Union and NATO. I have conducted many interviews with various members of the European Union about peace talks with the European Special Envoy for Afghanistan and MEPs. I also covered very high-level meetings in Brussels, Strasbourg, and Luxembourg. For NATO I covered various Summits of Heads of State in Warsaw, London, and Brussels.
